Product Compliance Engineer

About the position:
As a Product Compliance Engineer, your main responsibility is managing multiple product compliance projects as well as supporting the entire Product Compliance Team to ensure products become compliant and stay in compliance with multiple regulations, such as: Safety, EMC, Energy Efficiency, RF. This role is a key contributor to the Company’s product compliance team and will be working with new and existing products.
In the positon you’ll have the right to focus on:
Managing critical product compliance projects for Company’s products (ITE, Audio & Video equipment) and ensuring products are in compliance with all applicable regulations, such as: EMC, Safety, Energy Efficiency, Radio and others.
Reviewing and approving product compliance plan, test reports, certificates, declarations of conformities, risk assessments and other product compliance documents.
Guiding and supporting product compliance engineers on technical subjects, discussions and issues.
Ensuring product compliance, compliance plans are executed correctly, technical files are properly built, proofs of compliance are in place.
Evaluating the impact of new standards and regulation on Company’s products as well as implementing the new requirements in the NPI and Sustaining product compliance projects.
Evaluating the impact of changes on existing products and creating/approving product compliance plans to ensure products remain in compliance.
Interfacing, guiding and supporting multiple cross-functional teams, such as: Trade Compliance, Supply Chain, Components, Purchasing, Project Management, Engineering, Sales and others.
As an ideal candidate for the position you have/are:
2- 5 years’ experience with product regulatory compliance, in multiple areas (EMC, Safety, Others) for multiple markets (USA, Canada, Europe, UK, Others).
Experience with product compliance requirements and certification schemes for ITE, audio and video equipment.
Excellent communication, writing, documentation, organization, and project management skills.
Ability to work independently, manage and prioritize projects in accordance with the company needs.
